| Sleeve Anchors are a preassembled expanding anchor manufactured for use in concrete, cement, block, thin wall/solid concrete, brick or stone. Due to it's unique design, it can also be used in soft concretes because the compression load can be distributed over a longer length. It comes in both acorn and hex head. Concrete sleeve anchors operate using a threaded bolt which is enveloped by an expander sleeve, and a washer/nut system at the other end. Once the nut on the bolt is turned, the bolt is pulled up through the expander sleeve and flares out to fasten the fixture to the concrete. Sleeve Anchors are designed for use in concrete or masonry base materials. These anchors are available in a number of head styles & materials for multiple applications. |
